PATOffice is deliberately positioned as a patent intelligence and monitoring platform with a focus on understandable analysis, collaborative workflows and collaboration between IP and R&D teams.

- Yes. The platform integrates AI features for translation, summarization, comparison, analysis, prioritization and search support. Further AI features related to AI agents, multi-agent systems (MAS) and the Model Context Protocol (MCP) are in preparation and will be made available to customers in the near future.

- PATOffice supports global patent searches across more than 130 jurisdictions with over 180 million records, updated daily. AI-powered translation features facilitate the analysis of patent specifications in foreign languages.
- How is customer data protected?
- AI models are never trained on customer data. Data processing is GDPR-compliant, with hosting and backups in Germany. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is signed upon request. A non-disclosure agreement applies to all interactions. SOC 2 certification is in preparation.
- Can PATOffice be integrated with an existing IPMS?
- Yes. PATOffice can be operated as a complementary platform alongside an existing IPMS. The team fully handles data migrations, custom field mappings and profile migrations.
